ASIC design house Worldcore Electronics reports record revenue of $194.6 million and net profit of $30.5 million for the first half of 2022

        Worldcore Electronics, a global ASIC design house, announced its second quarter 2022 financial results. Second quarter revenue reached a record high. Cumulatively, revenue for the first half of 2022 reached a record high of $194.6 million and net profit after tax reached a record $30.5 million.
 
 
        In terms of revenue, the second quarter of 2022 continued to be strong at $101.1 million, up 8.2% from $93.5 million in the previous quarter and up 3.9% from $97.4 million in the same period last year. In terms of net profit, net profit after tax surpassed $14.5 million in the second quarter of 2022, down 9.5% from $16.0 million in the previous quarter and up 4.3% from $13.9 million in the same quarter last year. Operating income for the second quarter of 2022 was $19.3 million, down slightly from $19.6 million in the previous quarter and up 10.7% from $17.5 million in the same quarter last year. earnings per share for the second quarter of 2022 were NT$6.0.
        Revenue for the second quarter of the year was slightly lower than expected due to a shortage of ABF substrates. However, even in the midst of a slowing economic fundamentals, demand for advanced process and high-speed computing related designs remained strong and showed no signs of weakening.
