Ams Osram has teamed up with Movano Health to create a lifestyle precision monitoring solution for women

        AMS OSram (Swiss Stock Exchange: AMS), a global leader in optical solutions, today announced that AMS, a leader in bio-monitoring technology, and Movano Health, a health technology pioneer (NASDAQ: MOVE has joined forces to integrate AMS Osram's PPG sensor solution into the Evie Ring, Movano Health's smart ring for women.
 
 
        To bring high-quality data to the forefront of consumer Health devices, Movano Health has launched the Evie Ring, a wearable device. Designed specifically for women, this personalized solution not only provides medical-grade measurement of critical vital sign data, but also gives users a complete picture of their health according to their individual needs. Evie Ring wins the 2024 CES Innovation Award in the Wearables category.
        Ams OSram's complete PPG sensor solution includes Optical front end (OFE) SFH 7014C transmitter and SFH 2705 detector technology, coupled with the company's analog Front End (AFE) AS7057. The total radiation intensity of the transmitter is increased by more than 40% compared with the previous generation of products, and the chip surface area of the photodetector is significantly larger than that of the competing products. The solution significantly improves the sensitivity and accuracy of the reading, and effectively solves the problem common to all biological monitoring equipment: the effective signal of the LED emitted light scattered and absorbed by the human tissue will be weak, how to accurately detect the small changes in these weak light signals, which will directly affect the system performance. This solution is in line with Evie's goal of creating a device tailored for women's fingers.
