Auto Chip Shortage will Last until 2030

        Recently, AutoForecast Solutions (hereinafter referred to as AFS), an automotive industry data forecasting company, released the latest data, as of November 27, the chip shortage has led to a global car production reduction of 4,117,600 units. 2022 year, the chip shortage will lead to a global car production reduction of about 4,485,300 units.
 
 
        In line with the AFS analysis data, many car manufacturers have recently released production reduction plans, which also confirms the fact that the continued shortage of automotive chips.
        Bosch Group, which has the role of a Tire1 manufacturer, is also the largest purchaser of automotive chips. Bosch China executive vice president Xu Daquan also recently said, "The problem of core shortage remains unresolved, and the forecast for next year is not optimistic, with many chip suppliers reflecting that they will not be able to meet procurement demand next year."
        Some car manufacturers even said pessimistically that the original expectation of significant improvement in 2023 may fall short, and I am afraid that it will take 2-3 years for normal supply.
        In response to the production cut, all major car manufacturers said that the main reason is the shortage of semiconductors and other components, the spread of the new crown epidemic and logistics stagnation. In fact, the electrification of cars, intelligent, networked leading to a surge in the number of chips, will also become one of the important reasons for the "lack of core" in the coming period.
