According to foreign media reports, NVIDIA is preparing to release the RTX 3050 6GB graphics card, which is equipped with 2304 CUDA cores and has similar specifications to the RTX 3050 OEM version, but the memory bus bitwidth has been reduced to 96bit, the bandwidth has dropped from 224GB/s to 168GB/s, and the TDP has been reduced from 115W to 70W.
Previously, in October 2023, foreign media reported that NVIDIA plans to launch the RTX 3050 6GB graphics card in early 2024, which should be at the 2024 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2024).

Unlike the 8GB video memory version of the RTX 3050, which was launched in January 2022, this new model has fewer cores, less memory, and consumes less bandwidth and power, and is expected to be released in February 2024, according to the foreign media report. NVIDIA is considered to be one of the world's largest suppliers of GPUs, which are an essential component in the development of generative AI. Currently, the company is highly favored by investors and is considered to be a key supplier in meeting the demand for AI computing power, with its high-end processors already being used to train and run various chatbots.
On January 8 of this year, NVIDIA announced the GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series of graphics cards. The series, which includes three graphics cards: the RTX 4070 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX 4080 SUPER, starts at $599 and is expected to bring higher performance to PC gamers while reducing power consumption. NVIDIA said several PC makers, including Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Thunderbird, and Samsung, will be launching laptops with these new graphics cards.
