Lenovo recently announced its most technologically groundbreaking desktop workstations ever, the ThinkStation PX, P7 and P5, a series of new Lenovo workstations designed for the most extreme high-calorie workloads in a variety of industries, featuring the latest Intel® processors with up to 120 cores and support for the latest generation of NVIDIA RTXflagship professional graphics cards. In addition, the workstation brings together innovative and artistic aesthetics in an enclosure design, advanced aerodynamic cooling performance and BMC capabilities[1] for easy remote system monitoring and management. From virtual reality and mixed reality experiences to virtual production for film and television, from machine learning, data science, computer-aided engineering (CAE), reality capture to artificial intelligence applications, Lenovo's new generation workstations are perfectly positioned to meet the challenges of higher performance and more demanding needs, in a flexible, future-proof way that is all-round winning in the hybrid office era.
Lenovo's new desktop workstations have been carefully designed to meet customers' expectations for rapid business growth while providing innovative solutions to address the growing and increasingly complex workflows," said Rob Herman, vice president of Lenovo's Global Workstation and Client AI Division. We worked closely with Intel®, Nvidia and Aston Martin to blend luxury chassis design, ultra-high-end graphics display, memory and processing power to create the best possible look and performance, providing customers with a fully upgraded solution."

To create these three new workstations, Lenovo partnered with Aston Martin, a manufacturer of high-performance sports cars and the market leader in ultra-luxury automobiles, to design the new ThinkStation chassis. Lenovo and Aston Martin share the same design philosophy, and this collaboration was designed to reflect Lenovo's signature red-hued design language, deliver exceptional performance, and flexible customization capabilities for upgrades. Lenovo and Aston Martin designers have crafted the pinnacle of performance and artistry, enabling users to increase efficiency at every stage of a complex workflow. To this end, the two teams conceived a tool-free modular body design that combines extreme flexibility and ergonomic language.
In pursuit of extreme performance, the 3D grille at the front of the workstation is inspired by Aston Martin's iconic DBS luxury sports car, applying design concepts from the high-performance automotive sector to the desktop workstation. The redesigned air deflector and larger 3D hexagonal front panel, coupled with Lenovo's classic three-channel cooling system, ensure smooth cooling airflow and maximize CPU, GPU, memory and storage performance, maximizing workstation performance in a classic and iconic chassis. In addition, the three new workstations also feature an innovative modular design with front-mounted memory for easy upgrades and maintenance.
Cathal Loughnane, Director of Partnerships at Aston Martin, said, "The design collaboration with Lenovo's new ThinkStation chassis has been an unparalleled three-year journey. As a loyal user of Lenovo workstations, we have the unique opportunity to work with Lenovo to create high-performance ThinkStation workstations, which we will also put into the design development of high-performance cars."
