        The Sharp Dragon 7000 series has replaced the AM4 interface that has been used for many years with the new AM5. At the same time, it has brought the new DDR5, PCIe 5.0, as well as the new motherboard X670 series and B650 series.
        The high-end X670 motherboard is just a little more expensive. The B650, which was originally positioned as the mainstream, has also been upgraded to a higher level. Up to now, none of the B650 is less than 1000 yuan. If it is slightly better, it will cost about 1500 yuan. In addition, you can only choose more expensive DDR5 memory, which really makes people unable to love it.
        Now, AMD seems to finally realize this problem.
        It is reported that AMD is planning a new AM5 motherboard, cutting down functions that raise costs and prices but are not necessary for everyone, especially PCIe 5.0, while retaining the main core features.
        It is undoubtedly wise to do so.
        On the one hand, at present, no graphics card supports PCIe 5.0. Even if it supports PCIe 5.0, there will be no improvement. The bandwidth of PCIe 4.0 x16 is still more than enough.
        On the other hand, PCIe 5.0 SSDs have not really appeared, and the price will certainly be outrageous, while the ultra-high performance is unnecessary for most people.
        It is not clear what the new motherboard will be called, nor whether there will be a more entry-level A620.
        Perhaps we can hear further information on CES 2023.
